Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 12 years of machinist experience.
Familiarity in at least one CNC programming language.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Experience on the following machine tool types: HAAS Machining Centers, Hurco Machining Centers, Servo, Mazak Machining Centers.
Experience with Horizontal multi axis or Vertical with 4th axis rotation with setup and tooling knowledge.
Overhead crane experience.
Handling of NASA flight hardware.
Climbing and maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.
above and below ground level.
Lifting up to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and overhead
(occasional).
Carrying up to 50 pounds for 3 feet (occasional).
Bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting and crawling from 1 to 30 minutes at
a time.
Reaching for, handling, and manipulating objects and materials in all
directions.
Standing.
Hearing with or without correction.
Coordinating eyes, hands, and fingers to operate tools and equipment.
Seeing with or without correction.
Must be able to wear steel toed shoes.
Will be required to participate in hearing loss prevention program.
Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak
periods and surge requirements.
