Bachelors degree in Engineering.
At least 8 years of experience in power generation or oil and gas projects.
Extensive experience in the design of electrical systems for oil and gas and/or power generation facilities.
Strong background in electrical engineering and electrical design for MV and LV power distribution systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical for creating and modifying electrical drawings and documentation.
In-depth knowledge of industry electrical codes and standards, including local regulations in Texas and Louisiana.
Experience specifying and procuring electrical equipment such as transformers (step-up and step-down), MV and LV switchgear, motor control centers (MCC), cables, raceways, lighting fixtures, and other miscellaneous electrical equipment.
Demonstrated understanding of vendor selection, technical specifications, and procurement processes for electrical equipment.
Specialized knowledge in the design of high-voltage (HV) electrical equipment, including gas circuit breakers (GCB).
Proficiency with electrical design software such as ETAP and Intergraph Smart Electrical.
Ability to review, approve, and stamp professional engineering documents in accordance with applicable regulations and professional standards.
