Sr. Assembler (1st Shift)

High School diploma and/or equivalent.

Basic hand tool use required (pipe wrench, end wrench, level, tape measure etc.)

Basic welding

Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products

Maintain inventory of product in work stations

Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified

Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in oral and written communications.

Minimum 2 years assembly experience may be required

Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions

Basic computer navigation and utilization skills

Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea

High attention to detail and self-motivation skills

Salary Range: $60,000 - $72,000/yr + 5% bonus

Minimum 2 years' experience in sourcing/supply chain management/New Product Introduction support or equal relevant experience

Negotiation and problem-solving skills with strong work ethics

Good knowledge and experience with ERP

Capable of analyzing information from multiple data sources such as Salesforce, PLM system and ERP

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Demonstrated ability to work independently, under pressure, while managing multiple tasks

Strong verbal & written communication skills

Proven ability to work within a team setting

Understanding of demand-pull scheduling practices is desirable

Proficient in reading and understanding technical documents and drawings is desirable
