Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and written specifications.

Ability to mount, connect, and adjust components, i.e., transformers, motor electrodes, relays, solenoids, etc.

3 years related experience

Texas Driver's License

Carpentry Skills preferred.

Computer literacy preferred.

Master Plumbing certification preferred.

$27.00- $31.00 per hour based on experience (Baytown, TX)

Guaranteed pay increases based on training completion and verified experience

$100 annual boot allowance, paid in quarterly installments

$250 Semi-Annual Tool Allowance after one year of service (up to $500 Annually)

Shifts: Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm or 2pm to 10:30pm

Stable, year-round work

1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection

Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs

Valid Driver's License

Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.

Ability to obtain required industry certifications

Pay: up to$33.02 per hour, based on experience

Medium / Heavy Duty truck technical training 2-year school and 4 years of experience or 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair

Annual Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Brake Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

EPA section 608 (Core & Type II) and 609 HVAC Refrigeration Certification

Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEM's and component manufacturers

The technician must provide own and provide all tools (diagnostic equipment and major tools provided by Sysco) necessary to perform all maintenance repair and diagnostics

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.

The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or crawl.

The employee is occasionally required to sit and must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.

The employee is Repair work requires excellent hand and finger dexterity used for wrenches, hand tools, and other shop equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Actual salary commensurate with experience.

19.99 hours or less per week, no set schedule.

Two years of directly related orthopedic technician work experience OR * Completion of one or more of the following combinations: * Orthopedic Tech/Prosthetics Tech Program and zero years of casting experience * Medical Assistant program and 1 year of casting experience * Nurse Assistant program and 1 year of casting experience * Medical Corpsman and 1 year of casting experience * EMT program and 1 year of casting experience * Current enrollment in professional nursing program with completion of introductory nursing course work and zero years of casting experience

BLS certification required.

Certified Orthopedic Technician

Three to five years of work experience in a manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician

Knowledge and experience working with high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls.

Able to use both a MIG welder, and ARC welder.

Able to order parts and maintain inventory of all maintenance-related material.

Advanced working knowledge on mechanical/electrical systems and components; including, but not limited to, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pumps, Gear Boxes, Power Transmission, Material Handling, Sensor, Transmitters, DC and AC circuits, Transformers, Power and Energy, Arc Flash

Working knowledge and experience on Automation; Industrial Process and Control system; PLC; Measuring Devices; Instrumentation; Robotic Application; Bulk Handling System

Working knowledge and experience on Facility Maintenance (Roof, Dock, plumbing) and Plant Equipment (Boiler, Air Compressors, Ammonia/Freon/Glycol Refrigeration, HVAC, Ventilation, Cooling Tower, Condenser, Backflow preventer, Sprinkler and Fire Extinguisher, Wastewater System, …)

Planning, scheduling & assigning ability while well experienced in defining priorities, required skills & resources.

Hold practical knowledge of Microsoft Office.
