Schedule: 3x12s each week = 72 hours (paid for 80 hours)

Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

Nurse Practitioner

Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the State of Texas or graduate of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the State of Texas if area of intended practice is Trauma.

Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing

Certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center or National Certification Center in area of specialty or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners or the American Certification of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification

Certified in Basic Life Support; current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

5+ years RN experience in Critical Care

Two (2) years clinical nursing experience in area of intended practice

Experienced ICU NP strongly preferred

Will consider a new grad APP with a strong ICU RN background

CV experience a plus

Master of Nursing preferred.

Certified in ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) if area of practice is Trauma within 6 months of hire date

$20.00 - $100.00 /hour

Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health)

ADN or Nursing Diploma

Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license

Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS.)

Other credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility, state license and other regulatory requirements for local, state and federal agencies.

Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
