Associates of Applied Science OR Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.

Enrolled in or have completed second Imaging Modality program

Certification from one of the following credentialing organizations: * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - (ARRT)(R), * American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), * American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RVT-VT), * Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or * American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)

Registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) through the Texas Medical Board, if applicable.

American Heart Association BLS.

High School Diploma or GED

Three (3) Years' Experience in the Primary Imaging Modality

One (1) Year Experience in the Secondary Imaging Modality

Two (2) Certifications from one or more of the following credentialing organizations: * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), * American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), * American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Vascular Technologist (RVT-VT), * Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or * American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

Registry in a second modality must be completed within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Associate's Degree - Strongly Preferred

Three - six months experience in the Secondary Imaging Modality

Experience and/or Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)

The Specialist must demonstrate a detailed understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

They must possess, utilize, maintain and enhance knowledge of radiation safety and protection for self, patients, and others.

Technical diploma Graduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology program required

CNMT - Cert-Cert Nuclear Medical TECH NMTCB required OR N-ARRT - ARRT RegTech by the Nuclear Med Tech American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.

3 years Radiology experience (any/all modalities) required

CMRT - Cert Med Radiologic Techngst by the Texas Medical Board AND CT-ARRT - ARRT RegTech Comp Tomography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required for staff employed in Houston: to be completed by September 3, 2025, or within 18 months of entry into role, whichever is later. For Staff employed in Austin: to be completed by March 3, 2027, or within 18 months of entry into role, whichever is later.
