High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints and specifications.
Must be able to inspect the parts they are machining.
Ability to measure with vernier caliper, micrometers and height gauges.
Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
Strong communication, both written and oral and problem-solving skills.
Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Must be able to operate the various machines within the department with minimal instruction.
Must have the knowledge and experience necessary for the position.
Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Must reside within the United States (implied by Authorization to work in the United States).
