Associate Science degree in Engineering, Technology, Electronics, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or a related technical field; OR a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), Mathematics, Chemistry, or a related scientific field; OR an equivalent combination of specialized technical education and extensive field experience (minimum 5 years) in semiconductor equipment, automation systems, or precision manufacturing.

Experience troubleshooting and supporting semiconductor processing equipment and automated systems, including PLC-based controls (ladder logic and control algorithms).

Ability to read and apply engineering documentation such as P&IDs;, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings to diagnose and correct issues.

Hands-on capability to perform point-to-point wiring and soldering, assemble and bundle electrical wiring with proper labeling, and install valves, fittings, and plumbing components for leak-tight connections.

Working knowledge of safe tool operation and field documentation practices, including accurate time/material tracking in Global Shop

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Semiconductor Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience using engineering data, schematics, technical documentation, and standard problem-solving methodologies.

Familiarity with data analytics, AI-assisted tools, or digital technologies used to support engineering, maintenance, or operational decision-making.

Experience supporting industrial utility systems, gas delivery systems, semiconductor facilities, or related manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of high-purity gas systems, instrumentation and controls, mechanical systems, and reliability engineering principles.

Experience applying AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, or digital engineering tools to improve equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, or operational performance.

Experience leading projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Familiarity with TPM, FMEA, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience developing automated workflows, dashboards, reporting systems, or engineering solutions using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, Python, SQL, CMMS, SAP, Maximo, or similar platforms.

Experience using AI-assisted productivity and engineering tools to improve technical documentation, data analysis, troubleshooting, and operational decision-making.

EPA section 608 (Core & Type II) and 609 HVAC refrigeration certification

Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEMs and component manufacturers

The technician must provide their own tools

CDL preferred, not required

ASE certifications; automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks (preferred)
