Troubleshooting skills as a Tool and Die Maker
Blue-Print reading with GDT
Knowledge of SPC
Various inspection equipment
Basic computer skills
Must be able to work from blueprints and CAD data to construct, alter or repair tools
Must be able to operate Tool Room equipment
Understand tool steels and production material
Completed Tool and Die Apprenticeship or 10+ years of equivalent experience
Have 5-7 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker with troubleshooting skills
Expert in Blue-Print reading with GDT
Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. with assistance as necessary
Ability to push 200lbs. on wheeled carts with assistance as necessary
Ability to use various inspection equipment
Must be available for mandatory overtime or non-standard or extended work schedule
