Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality, or a related discipline).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering.
Hands-on experience with CAPA and root cause analysis, including structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T; principles in a manufacturing and inspection context.
Working knowledge of statistical methods, including SPC, capability studies, and other quality tools used to analyze and control processes.
Experience working within ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems, including documentation and compliance activities.
Proficiency in quality engineering practices such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and process improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend effective corrective actions.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams.
Openness to candidates from Process or Manufacturing Engineering backgrounds who are motivated to transition into a quality-focused role.
Experience with Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to evaluate and improve measurement reliability.
Experience in calibration, metrology, or the use of CMM and optical measurement systems for precision inspection.
Experience with APQP and PPAP processes, including preparation and maintenance of related documentation.
Practical experience developing and maintaining PFMEA and Control Plans to manage and mitigate process risks.
Familiarity with root cause analysis software or digital tools that support CAPA and problem-solving activities.
Exposure to manufacturing engineering and process improvement initiatives in a production environment.
Knowledge of gage R&R; studies and other techniques to assess measurement system performance.
Comfort working in a hands-on role that combines laboratory, production floor, and office-based quality engineering tasks.
