Minimum requirement of High School Diploma or GED; with additional Trade School / Vocational School education, some college education or relevant job experience not less than three years in either machining or fabrication.
Five years minimum manufacturing experience.
Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor
Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or
Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or
Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity - Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts and machinery.
Hearing Ability - Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action. Ability to communicate with employees.

Experience (5 years) using mics, calipers, dial indicators, height gages, and many other hand tools to accurately measure component pieces.
Experience (5 years) reading basic to medium complexity drawings and sketches, weld symbols, GD&T; symbols, etc.
Must be able to accurately determine measurements and tolerances, or calculate them using proper techniques.
Experience (5 years) using various shop math functions such as conversion between standard and Metric measurements, conversion from fraction to decimal format, and calculating tolerance limits, plus exposure to basic Trigonometry.
Must pass CTP's Setup Test.
High School Diploma (or equivalent) with additional QC training from school or OJT is needed.
