Candidates must hold one of the following certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Through one of these nationally recognized organizations: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) MedCA National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Strong computer skills.

Ability to accurately observe patients and follow detailed clinical procedures.

Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.

One year of patient care experience preferred.
