Machine Repair or Millwright Journeyman's card or documented experience (8,000 hours).
Thorough knowledge of machine tool operation, i.e., mill, lathe, drill press, grinder, miscellaneous hand tools.
Knowledge of measuring tools such as micrometers (inside and outside), dial calipers, different types of indicators, and measuring devices in both inch and metric.
Ability to read blueprints and perform tasks such as PM's, pipefitting, fabricating, all types of welding (MIG, TIG, Wire, Stick) and use of oxygen/acetylene torches.
Physical ability to work from a ladder or platform, life a maximum of 90 pounds, and see clearly at twenty inches or less.
Ability to work in the following conditions: high noise levels, solvent fumes common in the printing industry, and medium heat.
