A valid driver's license is required
Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
Must have a valid Driver's License is required to operate company vehicle/or trucks
Must be able to successfully pass a background check, drug test and meet federal DOT driver requirements
Basic reading/writing ability to comply with road signs, complete paperwork and knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulations is also required
Candidates must possess good knowledge of state and local roadways and have experience with operating delivery vehicles of varying sizes
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds for long periods of time and knowledge of safety procedures for securing and transporting cargo is essential
Must be able to stand for long periods of time while performing flagging job duties
Must have clean driving record and be able to pass MVR as well as a driving test
Must be willing to travel, this is an extensive traveling position
Must be willing to travel as project sites
Must be willing to be on a rotating on-call schedule
Must have some mechanical background/experience
Certification (from ATSSA) as Worksite Traffic Technician or Supervisor is highly preferred

Knowledge of mechanical theory and practice
Knowledge of plumbing including PVC, copper, plastic, steel, and soldering
Ability to work with liquid oxygen, ozone, chlorine systems, and other water treatment chemicals
Ability to perform mathematical calculations
Knowledge of measuring devices such as micrometers, depth gauges, calipers, and dial indicators
Ability to climb water towers or other structures (safety equipment provided) when required
Possess organizational skills and the ability to handle a wide variety of assignments
Basic computer proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Word)

Ability to communicate well in English, both orally and in writing. Must be a good listener
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with the team and other WaterOne employees
Knowledge of basic safety requirements, including, but not limited to, confined space entry, use of personal protective equipment and proper use of power and hand tools
Ability to learn requirements pertaining to hazardous waste operations
Possess a valid driver's license and continually meet WaterOne driving standards
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background verification in accordance with WaterOne standards
