Ability and willingness to work on any assigned schedule, change shifts, work more than 8 hours per day and/or work overtime, all while maintaining good attendance.

Troubleshoot & Repair: Perceptron/Zeiss Systems
Build sort gauges from scratch using tools and parts in the lab
Rebuild any and all types of gauges in the production departments
Set up new gauges in the production departments
Understand the mechanics of all gauges and masters and be able to re-set and master any gauge in the plant
Operational knowledge of all measuring devices in the IQ Lab, such height gages, gage blocks, hardness tester, optical comparator, thread gages, calipers, micrometers, pin gages.
Ability to access and read blueprints to determine measurement characteristics
Perform yearly surveillance (visual inspection) & calibration (measurement verification) on all gauges and fixtures
Enter and retrieve gauge information into Gage Track record database
Write programs for ATOS Scanbox, PC Demis CMM, and Polyworks for measurement equipment
Perform part measurements per blueprint and Engineering direction
Ability to work with Engineers to conduct part evaluations
Ability to run scanning systems like Handyscan and Metrascan
Ability to set up and use Leica Laser Tracker
Use 3D Printer to create holding fixtures and prototype tools/gages.
Upload Datamyte and LMI data for Margin/Flush/Seal Gap Readings
Use and upload Blue Light Laser Gage data
Modify CMM programs in PCDemis or ATOS for engineering changes
Ability to use Ford Corp CAD software Teamcenter and Catia.
Perform department PM's on Department Equipment as required.
Knowledge of Maximo & Drawing Management System
GD&T; - Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Enter gauge repair diagnosis & solutions into every GR Maximo ticket
Access and read blueprints to determine gauge replacement parts
Knowledge of Citrix and WBDM for all data storage
Ability to understand and follow instructions, both oral or in writing.
Operational knowledge of all measuring devices in the IQ Lab, such as height gages, gage blocks, hardness tester, optical comparator, thread gages, calipers, micrometers, pin gages.
