This is a full-time W-2 position
On-site AV and video teleconference (VTC) support at a secure federal campus in Kansas City
Must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position
This position requires a federal security clearance that is limited to U.S. citizens only
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Level 1 — Daily Support & Break-Fix
Create conference bridges within Cisco Call Manager and initiate VTC calls, confirming connectivity for rooms supporting directors and executives
Troubleshoot VTC connectivity issues and provide immediate small-scale break-fix so meetings can start and continue
Provide daily onsite meeting support and presenter assistance in conference rooms and large venues
Provide pre-meeting support in large rooms (e.g., Meeting Center, Café), including startup assistance and presenter training
Notify meeting users promptly when a room is inoperable, post required repair signage, and log/update tickets from the Buyer's ticketing system, phone, chat, or email
Respond to Main Campus issues within 1 hour and escalate unresolved issues to the support desk within 2 hours
Other duties as assigned
Working knowledge of AV/VTC systems and conference-room equipment (e.g., Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Biamp/QSC, SVSI), appropriate to experience level
Ability to diagnose, repair, and reprogram AV/VTC equipment and to support live meetings for senior leaders
Strong customer-service orientation and clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical users
Ability to lift and mount displays/equipment, work on ladders/lifts, and follow cabling and TEMPEST red/black separation standards
