Proficient understanding of industrial electrical control panel wiring and construction drawings, including commonly used drafting symbols.
Minimum of 2 years of industrial experience programming and maintaining PLC-controlled machinery or equipment.
Ability to interpret functional layouts, wiring diagrams, P&IDs;, end-user specifications, and theories of operation.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Engineering Technology OR related technical vocational training with extended experience of 5 years or more preferred.
Working knowledge of applicable industrial standards, including NEC, CEC, ISA, UL, CSA, API, and ANSI, particularly as related to hazardous locations and industrial controls.
Experience developing PLC and HMI applications for industrial control panels.
Demonstrated ability to independently design, test, and implement industrial control systems.
