Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a four-year college or university, or relevant equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 25 years of experience in an engineering consulting firm or related construction industry, with a focus on buildings and structural engineering.
23 years of structural engineering experience working on buildings, including structural design and structural analysis.
Proficiency in structural engineering concepts related to structural steel, concrete, steel structures, and structural design of building components.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and familiarity with computer-aided drafting (CAD) for structural projects.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards applicable to structural engineering and construction.
Ability to interpret and understand drawings, specifications, and technical contract requirements.
Ability to perform field work, including inspections, measurements, testing, and observations at client sites.
Valid United States drivers license to support travel to and from client sites.
OSHA 30-hour certification.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
Ability to travel outside local areas as project workload and assignments require.
