Bachelor's level degree
Registered Dietitians who are credentialed prior to January 1, 2024 will not be required to obtain a graduate degree per the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Individuals who are seeking to become eligible for the registration examination for the first time on or after January 1, 2024 will be required to hold a master's degree
Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) credential is required if covering outpatient services
8-hour shifts 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, weekends and holidays required
Must be able to provide nutrition care to all ages of the life span including neonates/pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
Must complete nutrition assessment using evidence based and validated tools following the Nutrition Care Process and utilizing the IDNT
Must execute purposefully planned nutrition counseling
Must effectively apply knowledge and communicate with others within the multidisciplinary team
Must demonstrate clinical competency through continuing education and meet accrediting body regulatory standards
Must accept accountability and responsibility for ensuring safety and quality in the services provided and adhere to the Code of Ethics
Must demonstrate regard for the dignity and respect of all patients, family members, visitors and hospital personnel
Must maintain and model Nuvance Health Values
Must demonstrate regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
Must be able to perform other duties as required
