High School Diploma or Equivalent and credentialed Machinist journeyman's card or six (6) years' documented experience in industrial/manufacturing machining
High standard of integrity and professionalism
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
Solid knowledge and understanding of system operation, building plans and working drawings
Hold a Machinist Journeyman's card or 6 years of experience as a Machinist
Knowledge of the use and care of tools, safety practices, blueprint reading as well as mathematics, mechanical drawings, etc.
A comprehensive understanding of lathes, shapers, drill presses, planers, broaching, grinders, milling machines, and other tools
Knowledge of cutting coolants, lubricants and their uses
Ability to stand and walk for up to seventy-five percent of work time
Work with minimal supervision
Self starter
Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts
