Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating CNC press brake equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Demonstrated ability to safely set up and operate CNC press brake machinery.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
Basic understanding of sheet metal bending, forming, bend allowances, and material characteristics.
Ability to select and install appropriate press brake tooling and dies.
Experience making machine adjustments to achieve accurate bends and dimensions.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges.
Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, measurements, bend requirements, and material specifications.
Ability to identify basic machine, tooling, and material issues and communicate problems appropriately.
Ability to follow established safety procedures, production instructions, and quality requirements.
Must pass a pre-employment screening.
Ability to wear all required PPE for the position.
Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8–10 hour shift.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors in year-round weather, including rain.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. routinely and up to 75 lbs. occasionally while utilizing all proper lifting procedures and practices.
Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
