Minimum of 5 years of recent, hands-on experience operating cherry pickers, hydraulic cranes, aerial work platforms, boom lifts, or similar powered industrial equipment.
Experience operating Galion Hydraulic Crane Model 150A and/or Model 150FA is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate aerial lift or comparable equipment in a manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial environment.
Ability to perform and document pre-operation equipment inspections.
Ability to safely maneuver and position equipment in congested industrial work areas.
Ability to recognize overhead hazards, obstructions, personnel, equipment, and other potential hazards.
Ability to understand and follow equipment operating procedures and manufacturer requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, crane operators, riggers, and other personnel.
Basic understanding of equipment capacity, operating limitations, and safe operating practices.
Ability to work safely around overhead cranes, suspended loads, forklifts, trucks, machinery, and other industrial equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent safety and production standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow established safety procedures, production requirements, and quality standards.
NCCCO/CCO Mobile Crane Operator Certification – Telescopic Boom Crane (TSS/TLL), or equivalent nationally accredited crane operator certification recognized by OSHA, along with all required employer evaluation and personnel-hoisting qualifications.
