Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment or similar industrial laser cutting machinery.
Experience operating the Dynamacline Fiber® 4G 2040 20kW Laser 2D Fiber system or similar CNC fiber laser equipment.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate and monitor laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, technical drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
Basic understanding of laser cutting processes, material types, and material thicknesses.
Ability to perform basic measurements using tools such as calipers and measuring tapes.
Basic math skills necessary to understand dimensions, measurements, and material requirements.
Ability to identify common cutting or machine issues and communicate problems to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
Ability to follow established safety procedures, production instructions, and quality requirements.
Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent production and quality standards.
Must pass a pre-employment screening.
Ability to wear all required PPE for the position.
Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8–10 hour shift.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. routinely and up to 75 lbs. occasionally while utilizing all proper lifting procedures and practices.
Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
