7–10 years of relevant experience in site construction safety management or a closely related field.
Extensive experience with commercial construction site safety management, including active construction and refurbishment projects.
Proven experience managing third-party vendors and general contractors with respect to safety standards and compliance.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and OSHA safety practices, including construction safety requirements.
Hands-on experience conducting risk assessments and developing comprehensive safety plans.
Experience performing investigations and technical evaluations related to safety incidents and concerns.
Demonstrated ability to conduct safety audits and implement safety procedures and corrective actions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, safety services team members, and on-site personnel regarding safety issues and best practices.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on construction sites.
Ability to work in various weather conditions in an outdoor and semi-outdoor construction environment.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and climbing as required for site inspections and safety oversight.
Strong background in health and safety, with experience in safety training and EHS (environmental, health, and safety) programs.
Experience with construction safety management and construction safety procedures.
Familiarity with safety audits and compliance processes in a construction environment.
Knowledge of OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 level concepts and practices.
Experience working with safety procedures, safety audits, and compliance documentation.
Ability to prepare clear, concise safety presentations and reports for various stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety issues.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary project teams and with external partners.
