5 to 10 years of experience in construction
Experience overseeing mechanical and electrical construction activities, including HVAC systems, process piping, and related infrastructure.
Proficient computer skills, including the use of project management and construction software tools such as Procore.
Ability to read and interpret project schedules and align field activities with overall timelines.
Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs;, and technical drawings for mechanical and electrical systems.
Solid understanding of safety standards and regulations, with a strong safety attitude and commitment to enforcing safety protocols.
Construction experience in commercial projects, with exposure to MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems.
Background in mechanical systems, including HVAC equipment, air conditioning, and mechanical installations.
Experience with MEP engineering and construction management in large-scale or mission-critical facilities.
Familiarity with data center operations and infrastructure, including commissioning processes for electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with mechanical estimating and planning for construction projects.
Ability to work with detailed schematics and P&IDs; to plan and execute installations and modifications.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices for construction site safety.
Experience in commercial construction environments, including coordination of multiple trades and complex schedules.
Comfort with using various software tools and digital platforms to manage documentation, schedules, and communication.
Willingness to travel between project sites as needed to support ongoing work and project demands.
Standard full-time hours are expected
Flexibility required to meet project milestones and address issues that may arise during construction and commissioning.
