Schedule: Varies

Full-time, year-round work

Experienced HVAC technician with a solid background in residential service, maintenance, and repair

Knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related comfort systems

EPA certification universal & TDLR preferred

Clean driving record and dependable transportation

Able to navigate attics, crawlspaces, and other challenging work areas safely

Capable of handling the physical demands of the trade, including lifting and carrying HVAC materials and equipment

Pay: Approximately $28-$38 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, responsibilities, and the hiring company.

Typically 40+ hours per week, depending on the employer and position.

On-call schedules

Minimum 3 years of professional HVAC service, maintenance, repair, installation, or closely related field experience.

Hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC systems.

Working knowledge of heating, air conditioning, electrical controls, and mechanical HVAC components.

Ability to safely use HVAC gauges, meters, diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment documentation, and manufacturer specifications.

Ability to follow established safety procedures and applicable HVAC requirements.

Valid driver's license may be required depending on the employer and position.

Commercial HVAC, refrigeration, installation, and other specialized experience may be required for certain opportunities but is not required for every position.

Ability to perform the physical duties commonly associated with HVAC field service, including working from ladders, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling tools and equipment, and working in indoor and outdoor environments.

EPA Section 608 Certification may be preferred or required depending on job responsibilities.
