After-hours and weekend call schedule

Full Time

Must be able to perform high-quality scans on neonatal patients who can weigh less than one pound with many complex medical issues.

This job requires participation in the after-hours and weekend call schedule.

Must pass the pediatric registry exam within two years of hire and before being considered for advancement.

Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasound technology or a bachelor's degree in Biological Science is required

1-2 years of experience and registry in another ultrasound modality required if no cardiac echocardiogram experience

BLS is required

One of the following Certifications is required: * Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS * Pediatric Sonography (PS) RDMS by ARDMS* * Fetal Echocardiography (FE) RDMS by ARDMS* * Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS* * Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI * Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by CCI * Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) by CCI

*Associates with RDMS(PS), RDMS(FE), or RDMS(OB/GYN) must complete the number of pediatric scans required by the credentialing body within 1 calendar year of hire to sit for the (PE) exam. Associates must pass the (PE) exam within 18 months of hire.

3 years of recent experience in performing adult or pediatric cardiac echocardiograms is preferred

Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) RDCS by ARDMS (Highly preferred)

Knowledge of congenital anomalies is preferred for all Pedi echo techs, as the associate is required to move from basic to complex knowledge of complex CONGENITAL heart defects

$2420 per week.

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Weekdays.

Weekend and on-call coverage is required occasionally

2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Travel only, local not allowed.

Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Pediatric echo experience required.

Peds echo certification (CCI or ARDMS) required.

Weekend and on-call coverage is required occasionally

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required

BLS (Basic Life Support)

RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS

3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Congenital pediatric echo experience preferred.

PRN

An American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International credential is required.

New graduates must complete these required credentials within six months of hire.

Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support.

One year in the performance of Echocardiographs and Doppler Ultrasound is preferred.
