B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Glass Science, Ceramic, or Metallurgical Engineering) from an ABET accredited institution
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a complex manufacturing process or an internship experience in a complex manufacturing environment
Ability to understand complex process flow and machinery
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting, repairing, or improving manufacturing equipment
Ability to work within a chemical-based manufacturing process and understand the relationship between the process and equipment
Desire to become a subject matter expert in the assigned process area
Ability to multi-task
Ability to prioritize tasks to make progress on short term and long term initiatives
Exhibit engagement, involvement and curiosity about other departments or process areas outside of immediate assigned area
Ability to influence people or departments outside of direct process area
