The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Rebuilding/Troubleshooting
The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
Two (2) years of experience in the following areas is essential: Hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint reading, and equipment rebuild
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Welding Process
An associate degree in industrial maintenance technology or Electromechanics Maintenance Technology is desired
Participate in plant initiatives aimed at enhancing safety and plant performance as a member of the Department Safety Committee from time to time
Ability to use drawings to install new machines and equipment, repair equipment breakdowns which include welding, plumbing, acetylene cutting, bearing replacement, seals, shafts, and other mechanic malfunctions
Employee must be able to adapt to both hot and cold temperatures within the plant
Pumps
Special assignments, such as writing procedures, lock out/tag out instruction sheets, JSA's or managing projects will also be required
Observe Prysmian's safety rules and any special safety rules which apply to equipment
Good math skills
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
Perform mechanical preventive maintenance of all production equipment and perform major mechanical overhauls of machinery and equipment
Participate as fill-in for absences caused by vacation/illness which includes weekends and all shifts as required and work overtime as needed
