High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Illinois driver's license
Acceptable driving record
Proof of automobile insurance.
Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices
The ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
Ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to safely use common hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Knowledge of general workplace safety practices
The ability to follow established safety procedures.
Basic mathematical skills necessary to take measurements, calculate quantities, and complete routine maintenance tasks.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to remain within a 30-minute drive of Hopedale when scheduled for on-call duty.
Employment with Hopedale Medical Complex is contingent upon successful completion of applicable background checks and a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
