B.S degree in a related technical field (e.g.: Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer/Technology, Aeronautics Engineer, or Electrical Engineer) or an Associate degree with 6 years related experience or 12 years of job related experience.
Five or more years of manufacturing experience required in a Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer or related Engineering capacity
Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred
Catia V.5 or design modeling a plus
Experience with APQP preferred
Must have advanced knowledge of production methods, process capabilities, tooling processes and manufacturing processes
Must be capable of preparing well-written reports and orderly reports and presenting them to a variety of audiences including upper management
Must have advanced knowledge of manufacturing and related operations with detailed knowledge of such fields as product design, engineering function, tool design, tool fabrication, ergonomics and EHS, N/C machinery and equipment, factory methods work, etc...
Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles
Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and Operating Systems
Proficient in conducting fault isolation and troubleshooting skills for mechanical or electrical defects
Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
Ability to read and review written communication.
Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
