Prior experience in patient management, employee-scheduling, and coordinating with doctors for treatment of patients is essential for nurse coordinators.
Nurse coordinators should have general knowledge of medical software applications and business-oriented office software applications
Candidates for this position must keep all certifications up-to-date and in compliance with all laws pertaining to medicine.
They must be willing to work weekends or nights and be on-call on occasion.
Associate's Degree in Nursing
