Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
GD&T; (ASME Y14.5) training/certification
SolidWorks (CSWA/CSWP) certification are a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read, create, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D CAD) for parts/assemblies and production drawings
Familiarity with manufacturing systems/ERP for routings, work orders, and part master data
Ability to analyze and summarize production/quality data using Excel (e.g., pivot tables and charts)
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis (e.g., 5-Why, fishbone)
Ability to evaluate risk and manufacturability considerations and support corrective/preventive actions
Ability to prioritize work, make sound recommendations, and support implementation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective cross-functional teamwork and shop-floor engagement
Attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Ability to maintain accurate engineering documentation and follow established procedures
