Currently enrolled in high school, college, university, or a relevant career/technical program
No prior professional experience required
Access to information subject to the ITAR
"U.S. person" as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees
Strong commitment to safety, willingness to follow instructions, and respect for authorization limits
Attention to detail when handling materials, reading travelers, using measuring tools, completing logs, and inspecting work
Willingness to learn CNC and waterjet equipment, machine procedures, tooling, materials, and production workflows
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and use basic computer, email, spreadsheet, and documentation tools
Observe and assist qualified machinists with CNC and waterjet workflows, including work-order review, material preparation, tooling and fixture setup support, machine checks, and part handling
Complete required safety, PPE, lockout/tagout awareness, and machine-specific training before performing assigned work
Deliver a final skills summary and hand off completed procedure, maintenance, and safety documentation
