Previous experience as a Wax Assembler required

Extensive repetitive motion of the hands, wrists and arms.

Able to use small, fine tools.

Good attendance record required.

Able to understand measurements and read and use a ruler correctly.

HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.

The technician must have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar work environment.

The technician must be able to setup and operate tools required for assembly including, but not limited to standard hand tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and feeler gauges, vise, arbor press, micrometers, depth mics, calipers and microscope.

Basic blueprint reading and comprehension is also required.

Must be able to operate equipment required for testing including, but not limited to; multimeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, pressure gauges and transducers, data recorders, load cells, flowmeters.

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of one (1) year similar job experience

Bachelor of Science in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical or a relative engineering discipline with experience in the manufacturing of aerospace manufactured components

Minimum 6 years or more of progressive experience in the field of manufacturing engineering, preferably with aerospace cylindrical steel components

Strong knowledge of the following machining processes: * Turning * Milling * OD/ID, Surface, and Jig Grinding

Familiarity with the following Gear machining processes: * Shaping * Hobbing * Broaching * Gear Grinding

Moderate knowledge of the following processes: * Heat Treatment, including carburizing, nitriding, and core hardening * Plating processes, such as cad plating, zinc-nickel plating, chrome plating * NDT: Magnetic particle inspection, Nital Etch Inspection, Hardness Testing. * Aerospace Painting processes

Strong knowledge of: * Machining properties for various aerospace steels, such as carbon steels, stainless steels, carburizing steels, nitriding steels, aluminum, etc.3D Modeling best practices and principles * GDT, Engineering Drawings Interpretation and creation * Fixture and Tool Design * Inspection methods, tools and best practices for relative hardware (Cylindrical, small to mid-size geared components) * Employment of various quality processes, such as 5 Why's and Fishbone diagrams, to perform Root Cause analysis and provide robust Corrective Action for low yield processes and/or non-conforming hardware

Google Workspace, ADP, and Syspro.

2+ years of complex cable-harness assembly experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or another regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Experience with crimpers, strippers, soldering irons, potting, molding, or cable-assembly testing preferred.

J-STD-001 certification is a significant advantage.
