* Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience, OR * Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR * PhD in a STEM discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Proven experience leading software engineering teams.

Expert-level proficiency in Embedded C/C++ development.

Extensive experience with real-time operating systems, including VxWorks.

Experience developing and maintaining technical software documentation.

Knowledge of communication buses and protocols such as MIL-STD-1553 and SpaceWire.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in embedded software development, real-time operating systems, software architecture, and technical leadership.

Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM).

Experience supporting or leading proposal efforts.

Ability to develop system requirements and evaluate design tradeoffs involving performance, memory utilization, and cost.

Experience working within Agile development environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins.

Aerospace, defense, satellite, or space systems experience.

Experience with complex integrated software and hardware environments.
