Associate's degree + 6 years of experience in technical writing or documentation for software, data, or IT systems; equivalencies considered (Bachelor's + 4 years; 8 years with no degree)
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust (High Risk) fitness determination
Demonstrated experience writing technical documentation for software or data systems, such as requirements, design documents, test reports, runbooks, or user guides, based on interviews with engineers and subject matter experts
Experience documenting data, such as data dictionaries, data models, metadata, or catalog entries, including definitions, lineage, and data sensitivity
Experience producing Section 508 conformant documents and working to style guides, templates, and version control in a federal or other regulated environment
