Understanding of HIPAA, Federal, State and CARF standards and regulations.

Excellent documentation and computer skills required.

Knowledge of local community drug trends, the effects on the body and cognitive functioning of drugs of abuse, signs and symptoms of narcotic overdose, psychosocial implications of addictive disease, the process of addiction and treatment, social service, economic, legal, and medical systems, HIV transmission-health, behavioral, and emotional implications of addiction.

Knowledge of Code of Pharmacy Regulations in the State where assigned

Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

5 Days - 8 Hours

Full Time

High School Diploma required

Computer/basic keyboard, telephone, and office machines including printers, fax, copier, scanner, and credit card machines experience required

Certified Pharmacy Technician registered in the state of practice required

2 years experience as a pharmacy technician preferred or related experience as approved by the director of pharmacy

1 – 3 years of experience in purchasing pharmacy supplies preferred

Proficient in office automation applications such as Microsoft Office preferred

Part Time - Pharmacy Technician

Must be present during working hours at the office for in person meetings and access to a computer without violating company policy.
