At least 1 year of experience working in the field (outdoors) in construction, farming, environmental work, or a similar setting.
Entry-level construction or civil experience, or progress toward a construction, civil, geology, or environmental degree or related coursework.
High school diploma or GED.
The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and procedures.
Basic math skills sufficient for material calculations, measurements, and test data interpretation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
Ability to routinely lift 20 to 40 pounds to handle field and lab samples and equipment.
Willingness and ability to work outdoors on construction sites for extended periods.
Concrete testing experience if no ACI certification is held.
Background or education in construction, civil engineering, geology, or environmental fields, including formal degrees or online coursework.
