Completion of a two-year technical degree in industrial refrigeration maintenance
A minimum of three years of experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic
Current RETA certification or equivalent Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator certification
A minimum of six years of ammonia refrigeration experience
In-depth knowledge of ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems, boilers, compressors, motors, pumps, and mechanical components
Knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of industrial power and control systems
Experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance based on technical manuals and work order requirements
Experience using computerized maintenance management systems for work order management and recordkeeping
Skill in precision welding using wire-feed and heliarc methods on stainless steel in multiple positions
Understanding of electro-mechanical systems and interfaces within refrigeration operations
Reading, writing, and speaking English
Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
