Employees must successfully complete all required training, including applicable proficiency, licensing exam(s), Motor Vehicle Recrd (MVR) checks, and background checks required of various state(s).

May be required to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training

Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Construction Management or a similar discipline

Customer service experience (e.g., assisting customers, handling inquiries/concerns professionally, communicating clearly and empathetically), demonstrating transferable skills that support client interactions in a Claims environment

Understanding of property insurance concepts, including coverage fundamentals and general claim handling practices

Baseline knowledge of residential and commercial building construction and building components/materials

Familiarity with water mitigation principles and inspection processes

Working knowledge of Xactimate and XactContents

$16.00-$17.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two (2) years of clerical and/or receptionist experience.

Valid Texas driver's license.

Basic computer skills and the ability to operate standard office equipment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and organizational information.

This position requires prolonged sitting, sufficient vision and hand coordination for computer work, and the ability to prepare mail and supplies for shipment and distribute incoming mail to designated mailboxes.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Previous experience working in a Human Resources department.

Experience using multi-line phone systems and managing a busy front desk.
