Minimum of 5 years' experience in the technical field of rotating equipment manufacturing and assembly required.

Strong mechanical aptitude with extensive hands-on assembly and troubleshooting experience.

Must be familiar with manufacturing, assembly and functional testing and inspection methods & practices associated with high-speed, precision, rotating equipment such as centrifugal compressors.

Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as handle pdf documents.

10 years' experience is preferred.

Familiarity with CAD tools, ability to query 3D models to extract dimensional and assembly information.

Knowledge of HVAC equipment, operation and construction.

Experience handling high pressure vessels and hazardous materials.

An understanding of the operation of a compressor gas block.

An understanding of the flow of work within the machine shop.
