High School Diploma or GED plus an Associate's degree or vo-tech certificate in drafting, design, industrial design, industrial engineering, electronics, or technical illustration and 0-3 years of relevant experience
Ability to perform detail and layout work on CAD, with willingness to learn other computer skills related to documentation
Working knowledge of the design process, with the ability to do simple layouts and details and resolve routine questions, referring more complex issues to higher levels
Ability to work under limited supervision, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks
The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
