Facility, maintenance or service technician experience

Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment

Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)

Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments

Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades

Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.

May work at heights at times

$24.00 - $31.34 (Depending on experience)

1st Shift

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (flexible for OT if needed)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous experience as a maintenance technician or similar role

Familiarity working with various tools and equipment

Excellent physical condition and hand-eye coordination

Ability to read and interpret work instructions, requirements/specifications, and technical documents

Experience in inventory control, storeroom operations, maintenance support, warehouse operations, or a related field.

Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations inventory practices.

Experience working with inventory management systems, purchasing systems, or enterprise resource planning software.

Experience researching parts, reviewing specifications, and resolving inventory discrepancies.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.

Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.

Performing consistent repetitive tasks.

Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials

Familiarity with industrial maintenance parts and electrical components preferred.

1-3 years' experience performing maintenance duties

Capacity to read, write, and speak English, such as, the ability to read and receive and all work instructions, service requests, comprehension of required trainings, understand labels on containers, and verbally communicate with associates, residents and vendors; complete required paperwork on own.

Accurately take measurements and perform basic arithmetic

General computer skills in Microsoft Office and property management based software

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred

Multi-Family maintenance experience helpful

HVAC and CPO certification preferred
