Initiate corrective action to resolve problems and report major malfunctions and continuing difficulties to supervisor
Identify problems with jigs, fixtures and tooling and make adjustments as required
Provide own basic tools to efficiently perform job
Working from blueprints, process sheets, established procedures and schedules
Setting up and operating CNC equipment
Turning, milling, drilling, boring, and threading machines
Modify and/or edit CNC programs
Check and inspect own work using rulers, calipers, micrometers, go-no-go gauges and precision inspection equipment to maintain tolerances
Sign On Bonus: $3,000
Operate turning and milling tool sharpening equipment and drill grinders to maintain tooling
Adjust to optimize feeds and speeds on all machine shop related equipment according to size and type of material to achieve quality standards
Starting: $25.13 to $30.02 per hour, plus a $1 Shift Premium
Perform own material handling and minor machine maintenance; follow good housekeeping and safety practices
