The CNC Machinist sets up and operates computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to perform machining operations including milling, lathes, large horizontal and vertical lathes.
Our Antigo facility is under ITAR/UNNPI regulations, all applicants must be a US Citizen to be considered.
One year Machine Tool Operation certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience with precision inspection equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The hours for this shift are: 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, working Monday-Thursday, off on Fridays.

Proven track record of building, leading, and developing high performing teams
Familiarity with key manufacturing methodologies, including: Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Theory of Constraints, bottleneck management; KANBAN, takt time, lead time optimization; Root cause analysis tools (Fishbone, 5 Whys)
Experience in supervisory or managerial roles
Technical aptitude, with basic knowledge of hydraulic systems
A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar Senior Operations leadership role
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience in a Senior Operations Plant Manager role
Deep knowledge of budgeting, financial management, cost control, and KPI analysis
Solid understanding of logistics and management systems
Strong background in machining manufacturing; automotive industry experience highly preferred
Experience in a multinational environment is beneficial but not required
Strong English communication skills
6S Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification preferred
