High school diploma or GED is required
A minimum of 3 + years of experience in machining large components on either CNC VMCs, CNC HBMs, or CNC VTLs
Ability to perform set-ups
Understanding of drawings and specifications
Use of precision measuring equipment
Knowledgeable of all machine functions as well as G & M coded commands
Completion of skills assessment and mechanical aptitude test prior to consideration
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
