High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and pneumatic prints.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems (120V–480V).
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
Understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motor controls, sensors, and automation systems.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and compressed air systems.
Basic welding and fabrication experience
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, welders, cutting torches, grinders, and diagnostic equipment.
Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Frequently stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in elevated areas.
Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance.
Work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and manufacturing environments.
Work around moving mechanical equipment while following all required safety procedures.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, hard hats, steel-toed footwear, respirators, and arc flash protection as required.
