2+ yrs operating Machinery in a Manufacturing setting
2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and standards, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective production of goods.
Ability to read gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
Working knowledge and understanding of, MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, and OSHA requirements.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times per hour throughout the shift.
Capable of pushing, pulling, and maneuvering heavy loads as required for up to 10 hours a day.
Frequent ascending and descending of stairs multiple times per hour.
Ability to sustain prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching as part of daily operations.
Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, goggles, safety glasses, foot protection, chemical-resistant clothing, and, when required, a respirator depending on the chemical exposure.
