10+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including ability to: * Troubleshoot 120V-480V circuits in a manufacturing environment * Diagnose issues with motors, starters, contactors, overloads, and disconnects * Identify faults in sensors, switches, relays, and control components * Troubleshoot VFDs, soft starts, and motor control systems * Use multimeters and clamp meters to safely identify electrical issues

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and panel layouts

Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment, including: * Ability to troubleshoot basic I/O issues, identify electrical vs. controls-related problems, and work with controls or engineering to resolve issues

Advanced mechanical troubleshooting and repair of complex production equipment

Strong understanding of rotating equipment, including shafts, bearings, couplings, and alignment

Experience diagnosing and repairing: * Conveyors and automated material handling systems * Gearboxes, chains, belts, and drive systems * Hydraulic and pneumatic systems (valves, cylinders, regulators)

Ability to perform precision mechanical work, including alignment, fitting, and component replacement

Strong understanding of wear patterns, failure modes, and root cause identification

Proficient in fabrication and repair of equipment components, including: * Welding (MIG preferred; TIG/Stick a plus) * Cutting, grinding, and fitting of metal components

Experience operating shop equipment: * Lathe, drill press, grinders, and other machining tools

Ability to fabricate guards, brackets, fixtures, and modify equipment to improve safety and reliability

Experience with gas-fired and temperature-controlled equipment, including: * Industrial ovens, dryers, and curing systems * Gas burners, regulators, and valve trains * Flame safety devices and basic combustion systems

Ability to troubleshoot heating, airflow, and temperature control issues affecting production

Strong understanding of plant utility systems and their impact on production, including: * Dust collection systems (baghouses, fans, ducting, filtration) * Wastewater treatment and filtration systems * Compressed air systems and distribution

Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that impact environmental systems and uptime

Valid driver's license.

Technical training or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance (preferred but not required)

Welding (MIG preferred; TIG/Stick a plus)

Starting pay range for this position is $21.63-$23.79 per hour

Ability to precision grind and hold .0002 in steel and carbide

Able to read, write, and speak fluent English

Must have mechanical aptitude

Must be able to read blueprints

Ability to apply mathematics including probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions

Ability to measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and various job-specific gauges

Regularly required to stand and walk for sustained periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear

Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds (Heavy work classification: up to 100 lbs occasionally, up to 50 lbs frequently)

Visual acuity required to operate machine tools and perform skilled trades tasks at or within arm's reach

Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred

Able to navigate the Plex ERP system

Good understanding of SPC and ability to use SPC software

Working knowledge of heat treating procedures; ability to operate furnace
